Getting Started

What is PoweredADHD?
PoweredADHD is an educational platform designed specifically for entrepreneurs and professionals with ADHD. We provide courses, tools, and articles that work with how ADHD brains actually function. Not generic productivity advice that assumes consistent motivation and focus.
Who is PoweredADHD for?
PoweredADHD is for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and business owners who have ADHD (diagnosed or suspected). Our content is designed for people who struggle with traditional productivity advice and need systems that accommodate variable focus, energy, and motivation.
Where should I start?
It depends on what you need. Want structured learning? Start with one of our free courses. Need something to use right now? Browse our tools. Curious about a specific ADHD challenge? Explore our Topics section. All free content works without an account.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required to access free courses, tools, or topics. Creating an account lets you track progress, save favorites, and access premium features, but it is entirely optional for free content.

Free Courses

What free courses are available?
We currently offer two complete free courses: "ADHD Entrepreneur Course" (7 modules, about 2.5 hours) which builds practical business systems, and "ADHD at Work" (8 modules, about 2 hours) which explains the hidden friction in professional life. Both are fully accessible without signing up.
How long do the courses take?
Each lesson is designed for 10-20 minutes of reading. The ADHD Entrepreneur course totals about 2.5 hours; ADHD at Work totals about 2 hours. You can complete them in a few sessions or spread them out over weeks, whatever works for your brain.
Do I need to complete lessons in order?
We recommend following the order for the best experience, but you can jump to any lesson that interests you. Each lesson is designed to stand alone while building on earlier concepts.
What is the difference between the two free courses?
"ADHD Entrepreneur" gives you practical systems: task management, client workflows, money tracking. "ADHD at Work" gives you understanding: why professional dynamics feel so hard, without asking you to do anything about it. One builds tools, the other builds clarity.
Will there be more free courses?
We plan to add more courses over time. All free courses remain permanently free. We will never move existing free content behind a paywall.

Tools

What tools are available for free?
We offer 8 free tools across three categories: Time & Focus (Visual Timer, Power Blocks, Adaptive Focus Timer), Planning & Structure (Daily Framework, Time-Boxed Task List, Visual Routine Board), and Tracking & Awareness (Energy Tracker, Client Flow Checklist). All work without an account.
Which tool should I start with?
If you constantly lose track of time, try Visual Timer. If your days feel chaotic, try Daily Framework. If you want to understand your energy patterns, try Energy Tracker. Start with whatever matches your current struggle.
What is the Visual Timer?
Visual Timer shows time as a shrinking visual circle. It helps with time blindness by making the passage of time visible, so you can see how much is left without constantly checking a clock.
What is Power Blocks?
Power Blocks is a Pomodoro-style timer with ADHD-friendly intervals. It structures work into focused bursts with built-in breaks, providing external structure to help you start and stop.
What is the Daily Framework?
Daily Framework helps you structure your day with flexible routines. It is not a rigid schedule. It helps you create morning, afternoon, and evening blocks that work when motivation varies.
Can I use tools without taking the courses?
Absolutely. All tools are independent and usable immediately. The courses provide context that helps you get the most out of each tool, but they are not prerequisites.

Premium Features

What is PoweredADHD Premium?
Premium is our subscription tier ($9/month) that includes premium tools, premium courses, and enhanced dashboard features. It is designed for people who want deeper support beyond the free offerings.
What premium tools are included?
Premium currently includes three tools: Doable (an ADHD-first task board with AI-powered task breakdown), Focus Reader (clean reading environment with adjustable typography), and Smart Digest (AI-powered text summarization into scannable formats).
What is Doable?
Doable is a task board designed for ADHD brains. It has Now/Next/Parked zones, AI-powered task decomposition to break overwhelming work into startable steps, a solutions library for reusable playbooks, and embedded timers for focused work.
What premium courses are available?
Premium courses focus on understanding rather than doing. They explain ADHD mechanisms in depth, for when you need to know why things have been so hard, without anyone asking you to act on that knowledge. New courses are added periodically.
Is Premium worth it?
That depends on your needs. Free content gives you complete courses and functional tools. Premium adds deeper processing tools (like AI text summarization) and understanding-focused courses. If free content meets your needs, there is no pressure to upgrade.
Can I try Premium before paying?
We offer trial codes that give temporary Premium access. If you have a trial code, activate it in your account Settings. Trial codes are occasionally distributed through our community.

Topics & Articles

What are Topics?
Topics are in-depth educational articles about ADHD science and strategies. They cover subjects like dopamine, executive function, time blindness, working memory, and emotional regulation. Each is written for ADHD brains: clear explanations without oversimplification.
How are Topics different from courses?
Courses follow a structured sequence designed to build understanding progressively. Topics are standalone deep dives. You can read any one that interests you without prerequisites. Think of courses as guided journeys and topics as reference material.
How many Topics are there?
We currently have 15 topics covering ADHD science (dopamine, executive function, working memory), strategies (time blindness, task management, accountability), and practical guides (daily framework, environment design). More are added regularly.
Do I need an account to read Topics?
No. All Topics are freely accessible without an account. Creating an account lets you save favorites and track what you have read, but is not required.

Accounts & Progress

How do I save my progress?
Creating a free account enables progress tracking. Your course progress, completed lessons, and favorite tools are saved to your account. Without an account, your progress exists only in your browser and may be lost if you clear cookies.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our systems. This includes course progress, saved favorites, and any premium subscription data. This action cannot be undone.
Can I use PoweredADHD on multiple devices?
Yes. With an account, your progress syncs across all devices. Log in on your phone, tablet, or computer and your progress will be there. Without an account, progress is device-specific.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. You will receive a reset link. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder. Reset links expire after 24 hours.
